They have good service for sure. We got there around 9pm and were seated within 30 minutes. I like the grill they have and that they cook for you. If this was based on service, they'd get 5 stars, but the quality of the meat was okay. I think the combos they have just don't have a good variety. We also ordered the cold noodles and they weren't the best. The kimchi pancake was good, however. I would skip all the appetizers next time and just order a combo meal. I am a big judge of house salads, and theirs was disappointing both mix and taste.

I have always wanted to try baekjeong ever since I made the move down to OC as i have heard many great things about this Ala carte Kbbq spot. There was no wait when my group of 3 arrived at 5 pm on a Friday evening. It looks like we escaped the dinner rush by arriving before people got off work for the weekend. My group ordered a small beef combo, a side order of pork belly, and a beef tartare. The combo came with a stew to share, and we opted for the kimchi stew. Meat quality wise, this was definitely better than ayce Kbbq, but i was comparing to Marble Steakhouse and Grill which offers similar combos and high quality meats. Marble definitely had a more tender short rib compared to what I had here, but maybe it was an off day. My group appreciated the refillable egg and corn cheese on the side. Overall, definitely a place worth trying but I still prefer Marble for their quality of meats!

I came in today for the first time and the food is so good. The server really nice who is Jimin. He cooked the meats exactly what we want and make sure our drinks are refilled although he served other tables too. We'll definitely comeback!!

This is a pretty good KBBQ place. Note that it's not AYCE, but the combo portion was large enough to share. The small one can feed around 2-3 people and the large one 4-5 people. We were a group of girls and some may not eat as much so ymmv. We got the beef combo to try different types of beef. They were good quality and the nice thing was that the server cooked for us. That way, we could focus on the conversation without worrying about cooking. I remember the short ribs being the best because it was marbled, tender, and juicy. The combos came with soybean or kimchi stew. Soybean stew sounds boring, but it was actually pretty good. I thought it's just a vegetarian soup but it had beef in it. You can also choose its spicy level. There weren't that many side dishes, but they were tasty. There were also corn cheese and steamed egg cooked around the grill and they were delicious. We ate until we were full and happy.
